TRAINERS / FACILITATORS: The trainers are experts in the Biogas Technology, Renewable Energy, Research and Sustainable Development.
TRAINING DURATION: This course takes 1 month ( 17 working days ) subject to the number of sessions taken per day
FACILITIES AND RESOURCES: The theoretical training is conducted in an ordinary classroom setting while practical classes is conducted in the field during industrial attachment. This enables the participants to to have an access to relevant biogas equipment, tools, and resources. E -Learning Resources are also provided to enhance learning.
FEES STRUCTURE: The cost for the training is KShs. 50,000/- per person for Kenyans. This fee covers training costs and other necessities for a conducive training environment.
Participants are expected to arrange for their own accommodation near the training venue.
EXAMINATION BODY: Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive a certificate from the Higher Institute of Applied Learning.
INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT: As part of the training program, participants will have the opportunity to go through a 1 to 2 months industrial attachment for hands-on experience in a real-world setting. This will enable them to apply their knowledge and skills in a practical setting.
PREREQUISITES: Participants are required to have a basic education with some understanding of technical concepts and preferably some experience in the field of electrical installation or related industries.
TARGET GROUP: The course is open but not limited to Farmers, energy system designers, engineers, installers, project developers, vocational instructors, vendors, Operation and Maintenance technicians, and renewable energy companies.
